The official bio:

Kathleen is a Lotus Brand Architect at IBM on the Lotus Technical Sales team and is based in New York City. She possesses expertise in Lotus Notes and Domino architecture and development, Sametime deployment, and Domino and Portal integration, with a strong focus on Domino clustering, AdminP, and other advanced Domino administration topics. She also has extensive experience with Quickplace deployment, WebSphere Portal Server, and Lotus Connections. She is a Principal CLP in both System Administration and Application Development. She is a regular speaker at Lotusphere, Lotus Premium Support Seminars and the View's Admin conferences and also has spoken at several Lotus user group meetings worldwide. Kathleen has co-authored two IBM Redbooks, Domino R5 Clustering with IBM eSeries and Netfinity Servers and Deploying QuickPlace.

The rest:

I've been working with Notes and Domino since 1995, when the company I was working for at the time decided to migrate from MS Mail to Notes. I was an accountant at the time (no, I won't do your taxes), but I was friends with the IT guy who was managing the project, so I volunteered my department as a pilot group. I learned a lot about Notes during the pilot - attending train-the-trainer sessions and assisting with rollout tasks. After a successful rollout, I took an app dev class, and liked it so much that I changed careers.

Since then, I've worked for two Lotus/IBM business partners, a large Notes/Domino customer, and IBM itself. I've shifted back and forth from administration to development, and do both on a regular basis. My official job description right now would indicate that I'm primarily doing administration and architecture-related work, but I still enjoy dabbling in development on occasion.

During my off-hours, I write articles and I speak at conferences. I've spoken at the View's Admin conferences each year from 2003-07, Lotusphere '05, '06, and '07, several Lotus Premium Support conferences and summits, and user group meetings in Germany, Ireland, and the US. I've also co-authored a couple of Redbooks, mentioned in the bio above. I spend a lot of time playing with software, because I love learning new stuff.

I also have a few hobbies - mainly photography, painting, and writing. I just like to create. I'm also a travel geek, which I rediscovered after transitioning to a position in July 2004 that required a ton of travel. I have a billion other interests, too, which you'll probably see popping up now and again on this blog.

I currently reside primarily in New York City and part-time in Los Angeles. If you wanted to find me in either city, I'd probably be wandering around near historic buildings with a camera in front of my face, or at one of my favorite sushi restaurants.
